Bee Hale Counselling

in Alton

welcomes you!

WHAT WOULD IT FEEL LIKE TO BE ABLE TO MOVE FORWARD IN THE WAY THAT

YOU WOULD WISH TO?

Life is an ever evolving journey.  Everyone experiences ups and also downs from time to time as we travel along.  Occasionally we might find ourselves struggling,

or even feeling like we are stuck.

HOW WOULD IT FEEL TO BE ABLE TO SPEAK FREELY ABOUT IT, KNOWING  YOUR INFORMATION IS CONFIDENTIAL?

Talking to friends or family may be difficult for you for various reasons.  At times like these, it can be helpful to talk to a trained professional, who is unbiased and uninvolved.

I can help you work through your concerns by talking through them in a safe and accepting environment where you won’t be judged, simply heard and supported.

WHAT WOULD IT BE LIKE TO UNPICK YOUR PROBLEMS AND TO GET AN UNDERSTANDING OF YOUR THINKING AND BEHAVIOURS?

Underlying or residual issues may be causing you to repeat unhealthy patterns,

which can create barriers to your ongoing journey.

COUNSELLING SESSIONS

windmill.jpg

I offer safe, non-judgemental and confidential one-to-one counselling sessions to adult individuals for short term (6 to 12 sessions) or longer term therapy,

whichever best fits your needs.

Face-to-face sessions are held in my beautifully private and peaceful therapy room, within the flint-bricked period building, Channing House, in Alton.

I am also able to offer 'Walk and Talk' therapy.  It has long been known that getting outside amongst nature has many health benefits.  Talking whilst walking can help clients 'move' both literally and figuratively.  Please enquire if this interests you.

I draw on a range of humanistic counselling approaches, working integratively according to your requirements.

I offer a FREE initial 20 minute phone consultation. This is an opportunity for you to outline your issues and struggles, to ask me any questions you may have about the way I work and for me to see whether I can help.

Thereafter, my fees are £50 per counselling session of

50 minutes.  This is payable at each session by cash or beforehand by bank transfer.

ABOUT ME:

Bee Hale, Humanistic Counsellor

My name is Bee and I am a trained, qualified, fully insured counsellor.

I hold a diploma in Humanistic Counselling from the University of Chichester, and have had

my own private practice in the market town of Alton, in Hampshire, since 2018.

Previously to this, I worked as a voluntary counsellor for MIND - Mental Health Charity,

and  also for YPI, a youth counselling charity, where I worked with young adults

and sometimes also their parents.

I have worked in both short term therapy (up to 8 sessions)  and also longer term in my private practice.  Sometimes therapy can continue for many months, or even years.

This decision is very much client-led, according to your needs.

As a Humanistic therapist, I believe that we ourselves are the navigators of our own life’s journey and that furthermore, we alone hold the answers within ourselves to steer us through

times of trouble.  Occasionally we might forget how to access these answers and we

might need the support of a non-biased professional.

Humanistic Counselling is a 'talking' therapy, taking in the whole of your story.  My aim, therefore, is to help you rediscover these 'answers' by working in collaboration with you, empathetically alongside you, as you tell your story.  I can help you to understand yourself

on a deeper emotional level, therefore empowering you to continue on your journey,

more freely, making decisions based on your own needs,

Whilst I have the skills and the training to facilitate your growth, I believe that YOU are the expert of you.

~ "The only person who is educated is the one who has learned how to learn and change." Carl R Rogers ~

I am a registered member of the BACP - The British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy - practising within their guidelines & ethical framework.  As part of this ethical requirement, I attend regular supervision meetings that support my work.  I also endeavour to update my skills with CPD (Continual Professional Development) , through external training and experiences.

I am also fully insured.
